Aquarist Hub: Shopify Store for Aquarium Products and Live Stock in the UAE

Aquarist Hub is a UAE-based aquarium retailer serving Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Dubai. Its extensive range includes aquariums, terrariums, equipment, aquascaping supplies, fish care products and live stock, featuring leading brands such as ADA, Eheim, Fluval, JBL, Red Sea and Seachem.

Aquarist Hub needed a user-friendly e-commerce website serving aquarium enthusiasts across the UAE, with a comprehensive product catalogue, clear product information, simple cart and checkout, a dedicated live stock section and a blog for advice and hobby-related content.

The main challenge was organising an extensive catalogue spanning 30+ brands, specialised equipment and aquarium supplies into an intuitive shopping experience. Live fish, corals and plants also needed a dedicated section, making it easy for both beginners and experienced hobbyists to find what they need.

We developed the Aquarist Hub store on Shopify with a responsive Bootstrap front end, integrating ChatGPT for personalised recommendations and customer support. GCP supports data storage and processing, while the store features a detailed product catalogue, cart and checkout, dedicated Live Stocks section and expert advice blog.

We structured the Shopify store around intuitive product categories and subcategories, added brand-based navigation, and developed the shopping, live stock and blog sections. Bootstrap ensures responsive layouts, while ChatGPT powers product recommendations and GCP supports backend services.

Aquarist Hub now has a complete, mobile-friendly Shopify store serving aquarium enthusiasts across the UAE. Organised product and brand categories, a dedicated live stock section, an advice blog and ChatGPT-powered recommendations make browsing and shopping easier.
